That's a big word for him to spell. Not sure if I already said this, but I find it interesting that you seem to be focusing on the reading aspect since you're a LA teacher, and we are focused on the math aspect. Case is very good with numbers. We even had a KG teacher at the post office say that he was smarter than some of her students!
I've thought about that too. But he has a kdg. friend who does things with math concepts (count by 10s, etc.) and we're always playing math games too (you owe me 10 kisses and you only gave me 8, how many more do you need to give me?). He also loves to figure out patterns. So hopefully he gets both in the end.
