Potty 101

So, Caeden has begun potty training. I'm still figuring out how to successfully orchestrate this whole business.

Seriously, how can you get the boy to the pot every 15 minutes and still have other things that you accomplish in your day? And yet EVERY TIME I take him to do the deed, he's already been wet.

Who piddles every 15 minutes or less?

Apparently he must do better at daycare because I have yet to hear the blessed tinkle tinkle of potty actually being deposited in the correct spot. However, he has not only piddled in the pot at daycare, but he has also dropped the proverbial #2.

He must like her better than me.

There is no way he likes her more. Her whole day can be devoted to the potty. You my friend have other things to occupy your time. Good example, this blog. Both of my boys were potty trained at day care way before home. I introduced Sean to the concept of the Tidy Bowl man in his glass bottom boat and that did the trick. I word of warning the exact same tactic sent Conor screaming from the bathroom.

Good luck. I hear girls are easier. :)

After 7 times around here are my best words of wisdom...

I still don't know what happened that magical day the stars aligned and waaaaalaaaaa (angels singing) into the toilet it went.
